Subject: To Dio and other TC

It has been a while since I've had a rant, it feels worse though when other TC are involved. However the Dio - Clank thread has inspired me to speak freely. Sherm has shown me the e-mail you sent him Dio. For all other TC who arent aware of this e-mail, it generally said that Dio along with some other tanks have the impression that Sherm isnt interested in Myth anymore. Shame on you.

All the times we've had gatherings and individual tanks haven't been able to attend either due to work, family or friend committments; going to parties, drinking with buddies, none of these times has Sherm ever questioned your interest in the clan. Never has Sherm felt like kicking any of you out of the clan. So why do you accuse him of not caring just because he hasnt updated the website?

In your mail you said you know he's a busy person and that he's married to his work. Yes sherm is a busy person, maybe not married to his work but all the same he works hard because that is the way of life in Singapore. You wouldn't understand it unless you came here, Singapore is a country where you have to work. Of course you have to work in other countries but if you don't work hard in Singapore you won't survive. During my holiday here, I have seen Sherm leave to get to his office for 9am and the earliest I have seen him return is 10pm. My friends are here doing their medical electives (a 6 week compulsory medical rotation in a foreign country) and they tell me how doctors are still required to do a 24hr shift and then attend clinic the following day. This used to be the case in the UK but this has been scrapped quite a few years ago due to the stress on the UK doctors, but over here that is their way of life. So you see, after working such long hours, you can imagine its quite difficult to find the energy to wake up at 6am in the morning to play with the TC.

Dio also offered to take over the film section and message board section. Good for you. If sherm doesnt have the time to upload this why don't you just get some webspace and ask sherm to create a link to it. Is that not easier? That way you can have total control on the website contents you have mentioned.

I also note that at the end of the message you said you meant no hard feelings and did not intend to annoy Sherm. Why bother writing that, it just looks so empty to me. Its like pointing a loaded gun at your face and cocking back the trigger then pulling back at the last minute, saying you were only joking.

I'm not however going to put all the blame on you since you mentioned several other tanks felt the same way and everyone I've said so far also applies to these other tanks. Sherm will most likely not appreciate me posting this message but after reading that message, I felt disgusted that any of you could even think such a thing.

Also in case you take this the wrong way, I'm not asking any of you to leave the clan. Dio's been a great member of the clan as have all of you and I always enjoy playing games with TC when I have the chance to play a game or two. I was touched when pete actually mailed me to ask if I was able to make the MWC and was truly honoured to play alongside the TC and Elder in DE2 for several games. I just felt that those involved should respect Sherm's personal life a bit more than what I saw today.
