Larsen, Good cultivated thought. Its important you've realised transportation plays a major role in development, and truly it does. Developmental issues of Enga should be paramount in every planning aspect if there is a visionary leadership. When we do rural transportation plans, we look at the options of how the people will access essential government services like health and education, whether to bring the service to the people or provide means of accessibility. We, transport economist belief that the development and economical activities of a country and for this matter Enga depends largely on a good road network. Again, you don't need to be an economist to know this.

This sort of discussion calls for attention and contribution from all engan professionals and elected members alike. I've called for a creation of Engan Thinktank where topic of discussion can be put forward and selected papers can be presented. Both engan elected members and professionals can attend and summarised agreed points can be submitted to enga provincial government for possible consideration and implementation. We need to involve elected members if we want to address such developmental issues, so that they create ownership of such policies.
