Eagles Eyes,

Any intellectual advice is rendered to those who seek. I don’t know Mr Kikala personally but knowing Don Polye, is a man of extremely elevated ego and a Mr Know-It-All. He will never ever listen to anybody and I wonder if Mr Kikala is in good corporative terms with Don Polye as seen at this event at Laiagam to work for the betterment of West Enga.

Don Polye is known for making promises and it’s not surprising he has once again sprouted out another load of bullshits about sealing various road segments mentioned in the paper.

The roads basically needs the first step improvements such as widening road widths, shortening corners, diversion at various land instability areas, culverts and good drainage, quality gravel for compaction & road sheeting, and also land compensation associated with building roads in Enga. These small but fundamental tasks must occur before you even talk about sealing a road. Having known the road conditions and the costs involved nowadays, the money earmarked are not even sufficient to complete these first preliminary activities, let alone road sealing.

Mr Polye’s own road from Laiagam to Kandep is not even near the completion of any of the first steps. It only makes one wonder how he sets arbitrary targets that he can only achieve in his dream world.
