FYI, I know Don Polye interestingly very well and what he is capable of, in fact Don is I am close cousin brother to me. The death of later Andy Toaps is directly related to political reasons where Andy was listed as a key witness at the election counting for the court of disputed returnes filed by ALfred Manase and other Kandep candidates.
Your lack of knowledge on what happened at Kandep during the elections and what led to this barbaric killing would make you wonder about the whole affair.
To tell you what has progressed so far, Don Polye has ordered this killing. The mastamind behind the killing was caught immedicately when he tried to board a flight to POM at Mt Hagen airport to inform Don Polye that he has completed the task he was assigned. His person plus 3 of Don Polye's cousin brothers were caught and are now awaiting charges at Mt Hagen Police station. Those buys were all seen at the scene. In fact they pursued the the High school truck all the way from Mt Hagen on three trucks, 2 x 10 seaters which were used for Don's campaign and 1 x open back landcruiser which was bought by Don and given to the Wage LLG council. This vehicles are now in police custody.
As I have mentioned before, Don has caused a lot of fights in Kandep (refer one of my postings above) and this death will not initiate a fight cause it will only boost Don's main agenda. Don's idea is to initiate a fight with Andy's clan who were behind Alfred Manase and his two cousin's clans (they all belong to one tribe called Alitip). The late Andy's people are now waiting for Don to come and explain why he ordered the killing because there were some agents in the meeting to organise this killing who leaked out the information.
FYI, this matter will not go down well, you'll see Don will pay the price.
On the other note for the elections, there wasn't any election in 90% of the Kandep rest houses. The people at the remote locations were waiting for two days for the elections but nobody turned up. Don's conspired with the District Returning Officer Mr Naipet and colluded with the polling officials and filled all the ballot papers in the night before the election day. When the election day came, they drove the filled ballot papers to their destinations but returned without reaching the respective rest houses and declared election was complete.
There was no police posted to those places and those who went were Don's man. The only elections conducted properly were at the Kandep station area where there was heavy police presence and thats where the other candidates at least got some votes.
The court of disputed returns is scheduled for today's (9th Oct) directional hearing and you will realised that the whole election for Kandep was flawed from the start. Lets keep an eye open for the news out from the cases.
If you want any further info, please let me know and I will try to publish some facts surrounding the reasons why I detest and question the credibility of your leader - Don Polye - he is not worthy of a leader, only time will tel.
