In reply to: Freddie 's message, "Re: Child Seeking Help (Brain Tumor) - PostCourier Report" on Sat, Nov 24 2007, 03:55:29pm

A final follow up with Port Moresby General Hospital after my 2 hours wait got me no records under the boy's name.

According to Dr. Wemin and one of her Clerk's who was assisting; found no available records under the name Kaman Gama. I was told these are the records with the Emergency Ward patient registrants and other related wards only. They may have come and gone with just a consultation service only. In that case I'd have to call back on Monday to talk to the PMGH CEO. I was provided with the following number to reaching the CEO directly. Ph: 675-324-8212 OR 675-324-8246.

With that I think we'll have to wait another day or so perhaps before we can get any substantial information verifying a patient under the said name. This goes for both PIH and PMGH, as reported in the Post Courier on Thursday.

If calls by Monday do not reveal any concrete information about the attendance and registration of a patient under the said name, then I believe the Post Courier reporters have not done their homework well enough before going public, and also a possibility that this article as reported may have been a money scammer's job through a very deceiving and weak entry for the public (genuine donors) to fall prey to such.

Can someone in POM or elsewhere help me to confirm my findings are true to the fact as posted here? I have purposely left phone numbers here so you all can call and confirm also.

Freddie
