Yes, those disputed boxes have been counted and John Pundari has surged the lead. Second Preference count has begun this morning, 19 candidates eliminated already. Now Pundari is leading with 5970 and sitting MP Dickson Maki trailing second with 4720 votes. The other 20 remaining candidates will be eliminated tomorrow and winner likely to be declared tomorrow evening. No doubt Pundari is returning as MP through dubious deals.

For Regional, Ipatas is already in Pom waiting for his declaration hopefully tomorrow.

I missed on Lagaip Porgera, my mistake.

John Pundari has been declared newly elect MP for Kompiam-Ambum this afternoon. Second was sitting MP Dickson Maki followed by Tit Karato

Well, atleast he got his seat back after from 5 years so good on him. I guess still he going to go to court dispute so we'll see how it goes.
