KK, let me correct you on a very important thing that you have overlooked in your comment. If Mr. Torato wins, he will not only represent West Enga. He will be the regional MP for Enga Province. I have noted in a previous thread that, this mentality of dividing the province into west, east, south and north should not be tolerated by all Engans.

I for one belief in a united Enga because we are united by nature in all aspects of life. Maybe this modern era, with all the political rhetorics have brought into our Enga Society this so called west, east, south and North Enga. Enga will be represented by an Engan son or daughter. I for one feel disgusted about the constand promotion of sectarianism among a naturally united province, by laguage, culture and traditions.

As for the regional MP, i sure have heard from people back home that Paul Paken Torato is hot, however, Engan politics is unpredictable, last minute manueovers can turn the table around. May the best man or woman represent our dear province.

I don't think Torato is a bad choice by the people of Enga. Infact, wisdom grows with age and Torato should serve the people of Enga for the better. My only concern would be the retention of the corrupt public service at Wabag. After Torato's victory should come a sweeping change to the public service machinery in Wabag that has been blatantly abusing the Enga people's money. I don't blame Ipatas only, he has been ably assisted in his corrupt dealing by the likes of Samson Amean, Senso, Charlie Bana, Pato Potane and the entire treasury division in Wabag. Corruption is schemetic and systematic in Wabag, we need a regime change and that should be Torato's number one priority. This has to happen if services are to reach the outermost parts of Enga.
