At the helm of one of the highest jobs in the land is the son of an Engan (Sir Salamo Injia). Two top jobs in the country are, head of NEC - the prime minister and the head of the Judiciary Service. A son of an Engan now leads the judiciary and it makes me proud.
However, one cant hide the pride, but openly congratulate a fellow Engan in his achievements. I am slowly seeing Engans moving into higher offices, owning businesses, real estates etc. Such a move is welcome news for the province because, many throughout the country think that we are rough and violent people, but, the attitude is changing from our fellow countryman and woman folk, as more and more educated Engans take up top posts in the government and private sectors and more and more Engans owning businesses and prospering.

Makes me feel more proud than ever before. Thank God I was born an Engan, and called an Engan and will soon die an Engan.

Congratulations to Sir Salamo Injia,
Like Barack Obama's USA Presidential Victory is viewed as historical break through and a landmark victory for all races, particularly the black people, Sir Injia's success brings a lot of respect and positive attitude towards Enga people amidst so much negativism. You also look at Issac Lupari who is the current Chief Secretary but under suspension. How good is that!
That clearly indicates and demonstartes to others and reminder to us that we have the vast untapped potential which we need to persue aggresively and improve on the bad. Things we need to improve on are
1. Tribal Fighting 2. Corruption 3. Bad attitude 4. Compensation 5. Nepotism etc
