I don't understand why the master copy had to be destroyed especially as a result of family members request. To be honest, "Enga Telyamo" by the late Allen Kepakan is supposedly the greatest Album ever to be recorded at the Pacific Gold Studios then.

"Legend" has it that during the recordings of the Album, mysterious occurrences unfolded withing the studio. Of all albums recorded, "Engan Telyamo" is the only album to have been recorded in one single session, no re-recording and no after edition. The guitar works behind all the songs sung in the album is of the legendary John Warabat who eventually engineered the whole album.

Most Engans would know a few words/lyrics or sing a few stanzas from those remarkable songs by the late Alan Kepakan but I am pretty much sure the band group "Enga Yandapai" led by Enga's own legendary guitarist Robert (surname?) or Engas own session musician Samuel Siki would in complete know the lyrics of this great album that has completely vanished. I have seen & heard them jamming a few of those incredible songs.

Guys,

I know the lyrics of all the songs sung by late Alan Kepakane. I used to have a tape of his but I misplaced it somewhere and I am still looking for it. When I find it, I will convert it to mp3. I will let you all know when I grad hold of it.

Happy New Year and wish we stick to our resolutions.

Regards!
NARO

P.S. The songs by Shark Hitz of Enga are brilliant as well. Especially 'Talome Kumakare' & 'Pasorol'. Kepakane and Shark Hitz stands out in the Engan music industry.

Naro,

Thanks for the information that you might still have the Enga Telyamo cassette. Please do convert the album to mp3 and share them. We (Engans) will all be grateful to you. These songs are almost like our provincial treasures. Thanks once again.

You are right, Shark Hits is almost as good as Enga Telyamo too. I had a copy back in school but misplaced it some how. If you would convert Shark Hits to mp3, you would be very much appreciated indeed.

Happy New Year and God bless.
