HAPPY INDEPENDENCE TO ALL OF US, PNG.

With deep cherishment to the moments at the birth of a young nation, PNG, we note this deep sense of the land:

"Land of the pastoral plains, the grass-field of the world, land of those sweet-air'd interminable plateaus!
Land of the herd, the garden, the healthy house of adobe!
Land where the West Irian Jaya winds, and where the southwest Aussie winds sweeps!
Land of the New Guinea Island of treasure and sunrise,
Land of Momase, the Green gold looks promising and the Highlands with the majestic height, standing tall and strong,
Land of Papua, looking young and strong, strives to face the challenges of the modern day.
Land of the ocean shores! Land of sierras and peaks!
Land of boatmen and sailors! Fishermen's land, farmers treasure. Our land, our mother, PNG.

Happy Independence to us all.
