The main parts of the fort, (the hall, tavern, kitchens, barracks, dormatories, walls etc) sit up on the top[ of a cliff. there is a fortified path that leads down to the beach where the ships are docked. that is where the troops are. there are also honeycombed passages and rooms in the cliff itself with secret intrances.
