The female raccoon's blow misses for the simple fact that the cloaked creature is no longer where it was when it threw the knife at the one called Pricket. The stranger had already shifted sideways, anticipating some counter from the back, and the dagger tears a long rent through the cloak, but does no further damage. Even as Moon is engaged with Karda, the cloaked figure slips over beside the recently deceased Pricket, retrieves the knife from the lifeless paw and vanishes swiftly into the woodland, leaving but a slight whisper on the air, "I never take insult lightly...." -- The Forest
