Dad had people over on Sat and he went over to the coop to show a friend the birds. Well let me tell you I thought our big guinea girl had been killed from the heat so for weeks at night I had been counting 5 guineas and shuting the coop. So get back to Sat, I was out with dad and his friend looking at the bird and chasing Daisy, there was guinea girl(we didn't know which was gone they look the same)and low and behold 2 keets a pearl and lavender! They are, of course, very cute. I had to take the little one, mom was not paying attention and started steping on them and kept getting seperated. They are now I would guesstimate about 3 maybe 4 days old. I have no clue where the nest was, of course don't know what it would look like either. Does anyone have a pic of one? It might be in the yard, or in the lemon grove across the way. I thought that was cool. Now the keet are loud I put them like all the other before in the garage, took one of the kids stuffed animals and they are the loudest birds we have ever had!!! What dad thinks is cool is before TX we hatched 2 keets also a pearl and a lavender so they are about 8-9 weeks apart. Oh and everyone we got at the meet, except one, is doing wonderful and there are a few girls in that group! Yeah!!!!
