Jerry the only money that is used for WMA's as I understand it is taxes collected from ammo, guns, equiptment and the purchases of licenses. The money that is collected is spent several ways. One is paying the Wild Life officers there great pay(ya right).Money is also spent on roads, bioligist and land management studies ect. There are few reasons I know that the state does not build feed plots on WMA's is becuase that would be introduceing a ferral plant to the area and then every hunter in the woods would be hunting those plots. There are deer in the WMA's you mentioned, you just gotta hunt hard.I don't wht purpose you are refering too other than the state allows hunting on public lands.
