I have been down and up and up and down over the past couple of weeks. I am pretty much holding steady just short of seeing any new numbers. I have been able to stay within a half a lb of my lowest point....but still can't quite get to that new ground. This has been so typical of the past year's progress. I seem to hit holding patterns. I figure that the last 10 to 15 lbs are not going to come off easilly or willingly. They have been there a really really long time and are very comfortable where they are and not wanting to budge thank you very much!

Yeah, the next big goal is my birthday in April. But I am willing to celebrate any progress I make by then even if I am not all the way there. Still it would be nice. Meanwhile I am setting mini goals. There was such a pethora of dates to use as incentives during the holiday season. I have to look a tad harder for incentives at this time of year. The next obvious one is Valentines day. We are hoping to make a trip down to NC to see my almost 20! yr old son sometime, perhaps the end of feb. or early march ...so there's that...but I still have to look for more to fill in March. Early May is my step-daughter's graduation from College....June is my son's graduation from HS....Gotta look ahead!

I need a new journal! Gotta drive 45 minutes to get to a Barnes and Nobles....and I am on my way to do just that!

hugs,
Dreemy
