I fell off so many times, Lovey....the thing is to bounce back like u are doing and not quit. Years ago I would always give up and quit...especially when the scale was doing more of the bouncing back than I was!! That was always/is always so discouraging...but I have found that it is the life-change that matters and to just think of it as that...a whole life-change...not a diet and to treat myself like an actress, or a dancer, or other professional who has to watch their figure 24-7 for life. Do they splurge and fall off their routine? absolutely! but the key is the bouncing back and making healthy eating and excercising your norm, and the splurges the exception. Yu are bound to have a great weigh-in by friday since by then the PMS bloat will be almost or all gone and you will have been on track all this week.

I really really do enjoy the splurges soooo much more now than when I used to endulge all the time and to excess at that. As with the Rita's custard experience I had last weekend....it was just soooo enjoyable and I savored every bite and didn't have to consume it all to have the real satisfaction. It was just like all my taste buds are hieightened in their sensitivity...so now when I do have a small taste of cheesecake or icecream or something I usually won't allow myself, it is just really GOOOOOD! lol! I don't think I ever was really appreciating the tastes and sensations before...I was just stuffing my face and using food to numb my feelings.

Try warm veggie broth in a mug for a comfort food substitute. I can't believe how good it is and how cozy it makes me feel. Go figure!

hugs,
Dreemy
