Hello All!! Good to "see" you.

Dreemy...I hear a lot of depression in your post. Come on girl...Look at all that you have accomplished in the last few years with your weight/weightloss/health/lifestyle changes and choices!! I think it is normal for a woman of our age to have a slow down in our metabolic systems. Perhaps your hormone levels are playing tricks with your body?? Your body may be trying to "hold on" to the fatty tissues because of the other "changes" going on. Have you done any reading or research on menopause in relation to dietary/nutrition?

I know we get down on ourselves if that mean ole' scale isn't showing us the #'s we want to see. But we've come a long way! Every now and then I think we need to give our body a break. Then when we ask more of it in the way of losing or toning or stregthening...it is more likely to appease us.

I have been in a battle of the bulge with my body almost all my life. Sometimes I win...sometimes it does. But....like you...I won't give up. And you're not going to give us either.
