Fahey is finishing negotiations on a AHL contract so that he can play with the Cleveland Barons. He is expected at their camp towards the end of this week. Goc and Erhoff are also in Cleveland. Training camp opened there on Sunday.

Stuart has been mentioned as one of the players who is going to be part of a multi game tour through Europe in December.

Marleau, Rathje, Smith, and Nabby list San Jose as their permanant home. All of them except Marleau have been quoted in the local paper and are in San Jose. Thornton is also here because his kids attend school in the area.

Mclaren was here in the first weeks of Sept. I am not sure he is still here, but he does have one daughter who is school age.

I was told that Hannan bought a house in the Saratoga/Los Gatos area this summer. Stuart also owns a house in that area and spent most of his summer here.

Niko is in Maine practicing with his college team.

Preissing was part of the OHSL games, but it looks like that already folded. He was in the Colorado area (where he went to college) but is planning on going home to Minnesota and skating with some of the younger Wild players to stay in shape.

My guess is that the local guys are renting ice time somewhere so that they can stay in shape. If you really want to try and see them you could call the local rinks (eastridge etc) and see if they are practicing there)
