Subject: PLEASE HELP PRAY FOR MY MOTHER WHO HAS CANCER

Please pray to God, through his son – Jesus Christ our Lord and to the mother of us all -- the Holy Virgin Mary, to please perform his healing and miracle (or even lead us to the proper medicines/herbals to cure her if there is any on Earth) for my mother Erlinda Barsatan who lives in Hawaii so she can be completely cured of her cancer.

She was diagnosed on November 19th of a very serious cancer called melanoma. The cancer has spread to her head (doctors found 3 tumors in her brain) and a spot in her lungs. There is also a possibility that it has spread to other areas of her body since she has been experiencing pain all over especially in her abdomen, left thigh, back and spine. This heartbreaking news turned our family’s life up-side down.

My mother was born October 3, 1946 and this makes her only 58 years young. My mother is the most wonderful human being I’ve known and this is not because she is my mother… It is the absolute goodness truth. She certainly has the biggest heart. She is very loving, giving, helpful, kind, respectful, sincere and so on… No words can describe how beautiful and caring of a person she is. I wish you have a chance to meet her someday. She is also a very devoted servant and follower of the Lord and does her very best as she knows how to live a life based on the will and ways of the Lord. There are numerous reason to love her and this is why I have the most difficult time understanding and comprehending why she would be stricken by such deadly disease.

Her cancer is in stage 4 and there is no stage 5. The doctors say she has 3-4 weeks to live. This news just tore our hearts to pieces and the chances of her surviving beyond the given estimated timeline or lifeline is only 5%. With our endless prayers and faith in God, we are all very hopeful that she will get through this. Sometimes she experience severe pain all over her body and therefore sometimes her spirit is challenged but other than that, she manage to smile whenever she can. Her mind is very strong...

We know that it is still not her time to go to heaven because she has so much work to do here on Earth. She said she wants to help raise her grandchildren. She said she prays for them all the time. I must say that she has done an extremely exceptional job in raising her own children. We, her children, are what we are today because of her teaching and the family values and faith in God that she has instilled in us. I know sometimes we take that for granted but deep in our hearts, we know that we are blessed with the best mother in the world. We could never ask for anyone better.

My entire family, as well as others, is very much in need of her in our lives. She is the foundation and core of our family. We need her wisdom, love and support. We can never say enough how much we love and need her. We love my mother wholeheartedly as much as we love the Father, God, his son Jesus and the Holy Virgin Mary. We are talking about a love that is immeasurable. We also forget to say I love you to her but she is very understanding and said that based on our action, she knows that she is loved by all of us. Sometimes we also forget to praise God for his blessing but we know that he knows well that it is not our intentions so we ask for his forgiveness.

We beg for God to have mercy on my mother and forgive her sins and grant her the cure that she needs to end her pain and suffering so she can begin a new healthy and joyous life. To give every cell in her body and mind the power and strength to fight and kill this deadly disease that we know is the work of the devil.

Thank you very much for your prayers and praying with us for my mother and believe that she will be cured and be given a second chance in life by God. We praise God for the miracles and healing that he has perform on my mother thus far and we ask him to continue what he is doing until my mother is completely cured of the melanoma cancer. We believe in the power of Prayer and the miracle and healing wonders of God, the Father Almighty. We love you, Lord, and please graciously hear our prayer. Amen.
