Dante came awake with a jerk. For a minute his honey colored eyes were wild and feral, but then they cleared and he looked into the caring gaze of Kalea. "I dweamed of my rujho." he said aloud. "They taked him Kalea."

Nashota's mouth hung open, "What? Gabriel..."

Gabriel lifted his head from Kalea's horse and smiled weakly. "Don't worry little one. Gabriel's gonna make it better."

Inwardly he spoke to Wes, Kalea, Nashota, Michael and the lirs. ::Jeff... Yes Michael, you can remember if you try. You know the truth.::

::Jeffery is your brother?:: Nashota asked quietly. ::Your rujho?::

Rio nodded, ::They took him. Gabriel got to Michael first, he went back for Jeff and Dante... But when we got there Dante was screaming and Jeff was being carried away. He hid Dante and Michael away and we went hunting for Jeff, but never saw a sign of him.::

Gabriel sighed deeply and looked to Wes, "Until last week. And now you know the whole of it. I will do whatever it takes to protect that boy." He looked to Michael and Dante. "All three of them."

Dante stuck his thumb in his mouth and tangled a fist into Kalea's hair. ::Gonna go get Jeff-wee?::

Gabriel nodded, "Yes Dante."
