Monet glanced to the air and huffed slightly. ::Tis only the boy, Michael. You met him during your brief visit with Gabriel's camp.::

To Michael and Evan he called out, ::Be welcome dear kinsmen, but beware as Angie is in a foul mood and Jeff, when he awakens, will not welcome you kindly.::

Nomis shifted slightly to watch the eagles approach. One was golden and swift in his flight, the other looked to be darker in coloring and not as at ease in the air. He smiled to himself, Cheysuli were a proud species. This should be interesting.

Then he looked to Angie, a teasing smile on his face, "Oh no. Not more blasted fools to drag you down and hastle you. Whatever will you do now?"

He knew she was about to let loose with anouther of her verbal attacks. He could even see her mouth moving, but all his senses suddenly shifted. Just as he had sensed Gwen from a distance and followed her scent and vibrations, others of his kind were now tracking him. And not just any others, but his littermates.

He stood suddenly, ignoring anything coming from Angie's mouth, and trotted from the camp. Best to cut them off at the past. He was not going back and they were NOT coming with!

Springing lightly from rock to rock were two beautiful female Silent Paw, one a lovely silver color with bluish steel colored markings, the other a pale pink color with dusky rose colored markings. The silver paw had eyes that seemed to be the color of her sisters dusky markings. The pink paw had eyes the color of the setting sun filled with bursting oranges and yellows.

They laughed merrily as they skipped from rock to rock, for though their journay was a serious one the Silent Paw always had a bright outlook on life and understood that every moment was filled with the joy of living.

A third Silent Paw appeared, this one a large purple male with dark purple markings. His face did not share the same happy joy that his sisters so easily displayed, but was rather grim as he followed the mountain path. He muttered something in the Paws secret speak that both females chose to ignore. Which caused his tail to lash all the more as he trotted the path.

Lastly came anouther male. This one of the same height as the first, but slightly less in weight. His fur fairly glowed as the sun glinted off of its golden strands. His red points seeming almost out of place, but somehow the male Paw made it work. "Negasi," he called. "Listen to me. Nomis does not want us following him. He will come back. He never leaves the tribe for long. He just needs a rest."

The purple Silent Paw spun around angily and hissed at his younger cousin. His ruby colored eyes lit like fire as they glared into the other's emerald gaze. "Do not stand there and tell me about my foolish brother Macphisto. You know nothing and are as foolish as he is. He has a tribe to look after like it or not!"

The two females stopped in their playful jumping to watch their male companions. Finally the silver female spoke. "Stop fighting and come along. He is not to far ahead, but the rest of the tribe is already on OUR tails. We must go."

The pink nodded, "Narcissa is right. We will have a better chance if WE speak to him before the elders catch up."

Without anouther word the purple spun and headed up the mountains, "Blasted females." Was all they heard.
