A scent blew on the wind. A terriable scent that spoke of pain and suffering and promised death. Nomis had been traking Angie for a good many days now without more than a brief stop for water, and now even as his young body begged for rest he burst into greater speed. The scent, the "others", were coming for Angie. Purple eyes blazed with stubborn pride, he would not let them have her. He would give his life if that was the price, but Angie would complete her journay.

Briefly he thought of Gwen. She too would complete her journay. He only hoped it brought her the answers she sought, and the fulfillment she so needed.

"Stay safe my sister." he whispered to the wind.
