Well read Konway's roleplay "at a car dealership" and tell me if it doesn't seem a whole HELLUVA lot like this one:
"The Selling"
::The bright lights of a car dealership can be seen as the camera opens up. By the makes of the cars it can be seen that it is a Ford dealership. All colors of Mustangs and other newer cars are sitting at the front of the place, some on racks and some on the ground. A salesman can be seen leading a couple over to a 2002 Mustang GT talking to them as they walk. The man and the woman smile and nod at the salesman and then roll there eyes at each other as the salesman continues on with his pitch to them. As the couple float around the mustang and over to a light blue SUV a thick fog begins to sweep in over the entire dealership. The fog only reaches up to the bottom of every cars tires but the couple and the dealer take notice to it. They stare at it oddly but the salesman continues on with his pitch as he looks down at the fog. As soon as the fog begins to creep up higher and higher it suddenly disappears into nothing leaving no signs that it was ever there at all. As soon as it is gone Lotus steps forth into the dealership from the main entrance. He stands there looking around at all the cars as his panther steps beside him. Lotus looks over at the main building and sees some people in there talking to each other as he begins to walk across the lot. He lets his hand follow the curves of a mustang as he walks smoothly through the cars weaving in and out within them. Lotus passes by the couple drawing weird looks from them and the car dealer himself. Lotus walks until he comes to a new Ford Bronco. He steps over to the door and pulls on the handle and surprisingly it opens. Lotus pulls the door open and steps out of the way as the panther leaps into the front seat and steps across to the passenger side and sits down in it. The panther looks at Lotus as he steps into the car also and takes a seat in the driver side. A key sits in the ignition and Lotus turns it down so the power is on and presses the button to lower the windows. When the window is all the way down Lotus looks over at the camera and begins to speak into it::
Lotus: This world is built on selling something, anything, to another person. It is basically how the economy works. The more we sell the more money can be given to the government and so on and so forth. Some people are so good at selling stuff that they can get people to buy that which we do not need. Just like the people who are here now looking for a car. They have a budget that will not make them able to afford a new car but that salesman is good enough to get them interested in it. They will probably end up buying it and have to forego something that they really need. It is ok though because that salesman will be able to take his commission and spend it on something that will in turn help the economy. The thing is all the selling that gets done in the world sometimes does not help anyone, not even the economy. What happens if those same people who want to buy that car because of the dealer end up without enough money to pay for there kids education. They may have to dip into there childs college fund and pay for it with that. Than there goes that kids future and who knows maybe he comes up with a cure for cancer or something to that effect? It is just one of the choices that we make as a people; Pay for what we want or pay for what we need. It all ends up getting lost in the shuffle of life anyway so who cares beside people like me. Nobody probably but that is just what I must deal with. I am off what I originally wanted to speak about anyway, the real thing I wanted to talk about is...
::Lotus is cut off by the sound of a very loud horn going off. Lotus looks down and sees that the panther has reached over and pressed onto the top of it. Lotus looks at the panther and picks its paw up and removes it from the horn and turns back to continue speaking::
Lotus: Anyway like I was saying, the kind of selling I was going to talk about has nothing to do with money or things like that. What I want to talk about has to do with ones self. People sell themselves all the time, they sell themselves to the highest bidder. Or in a different note they sell themselves to be something they are not. Just like Sherwin who is trying right now to sell himself as being hate filled and strong, and someone that is a force to be reckoned with. Now I do not know Sherwin all that well but I do know what I have seen from him so far and he is none of that. I have not seen Sherwin be strong with one thing since he got here and he is definitely not a force within the ranks of the LOW. What does he have one win or something like that? Now him being hate filled is a little bit different all together because Sherwin says now that he hates me. He hates me for what I have said to him and to be honest I meant every single word that I have spoken. I carry no regrets in my words now nor will I ever. Then there is me knocking him off of the side of the LOW tron which he did himself. He is the one that came up to the top of that tron, I did not tell him to go up there. He is the one that stuck his nose into my business and decided that taking me out was something he was able to do. Just because he messed with me I should be sorry for putting him down like a dog? I dont think so. I never got into his face and told him to come to the ring and try to hurt me. I defended myself and now that over grown teenager wants to step to me like he actually is going to do something. Well I guess I can oblige Sherwin at Realm and tear him limb from limb in the middle of that ring. Sherwin this match is beyond just a match for my belt. In fact this belt is something that right now I do not care about, if I lose it than fine ill just get it back at my next shot. So trust me that is not even worrying me right now. The only thing I want to do is get in the ring and tear you apart and sit there and watch you bleed. If you can take this belt than fine take it but trust me Sherwin you will go through hell to get it. Are you prepared for that Sherwin? Is your revenge filled mind ready to tangle with me for this belt and taste pain that only a select few have tasted? Your Winning Team brethren know the kind of hell I can bring with me but Sherwin do you know it? Go back and look at every thing I have done, every person I have faced and see one thing in those matches, even the matches I have lost. I have put a hurting on so many people that they are no longer the same. When I took out Tornado and BJ Luv in a handicap match none of those men can even wrestle anymore. They ran with there tails between there legs. Look at when I took out Rob Cavalera, he had to leave this place because of what I did to him. It may not have happened right away but eventually it seeps in to them. Than look at Dahmer and me and his last match, he has never been the same. He has not put the same amount of heart into his matches since the last time we fought and he won that match. Now Sherwin I know that you think you are ready for me but have you really thought about what this match means yet? I didnt think so.
::Lotus stops talking as a song begins to play out of the radio. Lotus looks over at the panther who has hit the radio with his paw. Lotus looks at the panther and watches as it slinks its head at Lotus's stare. Lotus reaches over and turns the radio off and continues to speak::
Lotus: Sherwin the thing that is pretty funny to me is that you place so much on yourself in this match. Now I want to hurt you with a passion, I want you to feel pain that is only rivaled by a bomb dropping on a crowded city but Sherwin guess what...I want to do that to everyone. I want everyone to feel my power and to feel the power of there past sins, you are not special. When I speak to or about you all I want to do is inform you before I hurt you. I do not try to ignite a flame inside of you but if it happens I wont be mad. I let people do what they want with my words whether it is anger or understanding. I dont care if they push you to the limit or force you to fight with emotion at all, you can do that all by yourself...all I do is speak them. I dont know why all of a sudden you make it out like we are enemies of some sort. You Sherwin are not important enough to be my enemy, you are not important enough to even be someone that I hate. I just dont like you Sherwin, your annoying and just a fool. You make it seem like we have been fighting through federation to federation and that this match will be a meeting between two men who have won one hundred matches each against each other and this is the end. Well Sherwin that is not the case im sorry to have to be the one who tells you that. I want to bring an end to you but it is not just you that I want to bring that end to. Everyone that I see in the ring I want to beat and bring an end to them. Just about everyone I see in the LOW I would like to see laying in there homes to afraid to come to the arena for fear of what I would do when they got here. Do not make this out to be bigger than it really is because Sherwin you are not bigger than it is. Lets look at this for a second, lets look at how big of a superstar you are. The only time you have seen the main event is with me being there. You were no where near the top of the event when you were alone, you were just a lowly midcarder than. Now you may say that the only reason why I was in the main event was because I am the champion well Sherwin I just want you to know that before I was the champ I was in the main event many times. This belt didnt catapult me, I was already catapulted. You on the other hand were not there because of one reason, your just not good enough to be there. You need me Sherwin because without me you are nothing at all. You need to hate me because if you didnt than no one at all would even notice that you are apart of the roster. Face facts Sherwin you are just not good enough for anyone to notice you without me being there. That is why you hate me so, you hate me because you cant be me. You cant be the rookie in the business that came in and showed the world why you never underestimate a rookie with a passion to be the best. The only thing you can be is the washed up old wrestler who no one cares about anymore. In short Sherwin you are just a has been wrestler who only has a shot now because of who you are associated with. Deal with it Sherwin because you and I both know that what I am speaking is the truth.
::Lotus begins to grip the steering wheel very tightly as he turns forward and begins to stare out across the lot through the windshield. Lotus loosens his grip and begins to speak::
Lotus: Sherwin I thought you were a smart man at one point until you showed me that you understand nothing. Now maybe it is my fault for expecting you to understand my words but I wont make that same mistake again. You seem to think that I am a hypocrite because of what I have said to you about rising through the ranks like a normal person instead of going through it the right way. First off though lets get something straight, you didnt cause a ruckus or did you storm into the company. You came in and have done nothing but get the crap kicked out of you on the regular basis. So lets make sure that part is right and you understand that right away. Do not sit there and say that you got to this place to be able to fight for my belt through any kind of hard work. You joined the group with the most power and that hates me and wants to see me without this belt. So lets just make sure everything is right when I start this off. Now I know that I do not care about anyone of these people here or in the history of this sport. The thing is I do respect certain things, I respect the aura of every single World Title in the history of the business. I respect what most of those people have done to get there shot at a title of that nature, I respect the fact that they would work as hard as they could until they could achieve this kind of belt. You on the other hand crap on everyone of those people like I said. I do not have to like them or respect them as human beings because I just do not. I respect the meaning of those people, the thing that surrounds them. So know that Sherwin before you start throwing that word hypocrite around like it is going out of style. I dont expect you to care though Sherwin, I only expect you to hear and understand my words. Now you have heard them but you have failed to understand them which is something I did not expect from you. Now though I know that even if someone seems like they are smart they might just be another idiot in this place, just a different Sherwin.
::A blast of cold air hits Lotus in the face causing the hood of his cloak to fall back behind his head. Lotus looks down at the air condition button and sees the panthers paw resting there. Lotus slowly removes it from its place and continues to speak::
Lotus: Sherwin I have a question though for you, did you even come to the arena last week? Now I know you were there because I tossed you from the top of the tron but tell me did you even pay attention to what happened through the night? You have joined the Winning Team thinking that with them by your side you have enough to take me down. Well Sherwin I proved that it does not matter how many people you have I can take you all on. I did it once and believe me I can take you all out whenever I want to. I won the Winning Team and now that you are apart of them I now own you to. I do not care Sherwin if you were able to get the entire locker room on your side, I could take you all out. Now maybe I am making enemies with everyone now but I do not care. The power I have cannot be touched by any person that resided within the LOW and beyond. So go ahead and think your safe now that you have a little bit of back up on your side Sherwin. Know this though, if I want to get to you than I will and nothing at all will be able to stop me from doing so. Not one thing can stop me. Just so there is no confusion though I want you to know something that you brought up. I never expected you to back me up or to be my friend. I do not have time for friends in this business and like I have said before you just were not important enough to be my friend. Sherwin as for you ever getting a worthwhile shot at me it might have come. I dont know if you would have been willing to wait so long but it would have eventually come at one point or another. Maybe if you were to go to the gym or some wrestling training facility you would have been able to get up to my level. Now though you dont have to work for it since you get your shot. I do feel sorry for you though since now you have to go against me and you are just a crappy fighter, wrestler, and human being.
::Lotus puts on of his hands to the side of him and pulls a lever which causes his seat back to fall back a little bit. Lotus sits reclined as he looks back out of the window and continues to speak::
Lotus: There is one thing I want you to do for me though Sherwin, do not look into things that do not concern you. Do not comment on how the people that are supposed to be my lumberjacks. What do you care if I insult them Sherwin, the more I do that the better your chances are. Do you think I dont know that what I have said and done to both men is not going to hinder there abilities to stop an attack on me. I expect them to attack me themselves as soon as they get the chance out there. So Sherwin dont talk about it and dont even think about what they may do because honestly it is none of your business. If I want to insult them than I will do not start to act like you can influence what I say. Those men both know that I do not and probably will never like them. All I can do is sit and wait to see if they will stand by my side despite what I say or attack me. I cant control what they will do at the arena and I do not want to. Them attacking me suddenly may add a little bit more excitement as I test myself to take out all of you. I may be able to do it right then without a good plan but we will have to see. You need to look over at yourself though Sherwin, you need to look at yourself when you want to talk about people who will not back someone up. Do you think the Winning Team will back you up after hearing you say that you are the best to grace them? Come on now Sherwin you know they dont like that kind of thing. You may be in the same boat as I am in at Realm if you keep it up. When you join the Winning Team you need to watch your tongue because with all the egos over there you never know when they will lash out and put you down. I am not warning you about them Sherwin, just letting you know what you obviously do not know.
::Lotus reaches over and pulls the latch to the door and swings it open almost hitting the car sitting next to him. Lotus steps to the side as the panther jumps out along side of him. As they begin to walk a familiar fog begins to creep back into the lot. The dealer and the couple are no where to be found now as Lotus and the panther begin to walk through the row headed for the exit::
Lotus: I bet you are real excited now Sherwin, with so few days left until Realm. It is now time for me to put my belt up for the second week in a row and take on yet another undeserving challenger. Well I guess this is the only undeserving challenger because Meyhu deserved a rematch seeing as he was the one I took it from. So I guess this is the start of the undeserving people of the LOW to step up and begin to fight. Can you take my belt from me? Maybe, there are a lot of circumstances that seem to come up in all of my matches that can help you. Than we look at the fact that this is practically five on one. Can you hurt me? No, not one bit. You just do not have the power to hurt me Sherwin. You want to be my slayer Sherwin, you want to be the winner of this match thats fine. The thing is Sherwin I have seen your kind before and just like all of the rest at Realm one thing above else will hold true. The simple and undeniable fact that you cant handle me!
::Lotus flips the hood of his cloak up over his face and begins to walk a little quicker until he is standing in the very same spot that he was standing in when he first arrived at the dealership. The panther takes its rightful spot next to him and stares into the street along with Lotus. The fog has begun to rise from the ground and now comes up to the knees of Lotus and continues to rise slowly. The rumble of a cars engine can be heard which draws the attention of the camera. Standing near the back of the dealership building stands the same dealer from before. He stands there waving at a yellow Mustang GT that begins to drive off. The same couple from before sits happily inside of it as the man of the family drives out of the lot and back onto the street. As the camera goes back to Lotus the fog has disappeared into nothingness along with Lotus and his panther. And the scene comes to an end::
