Subject: When We Dance (continued)

Thomas "Todd" Manning surveyed the dinning room of the Palace Hotel. He could have really used a beer, but he had promised Starr he would cut back since the days of her finding him surrounded by an empty six pack on the couch became routine.

Tonight Vicki was holding one of her causes. Usually he would have made a surly remarked refused the invitation and later sent an anonymous check. Tonight's cause was different thought. Vicki was raising money for children who had lost a parent to cancer. He could only think of Jessie, still young enough to need her mother and shake his head. To hell with Jessie he was too young to lose his big sister. His bossy, stuck up, judgmental big sister who still let him back into her heart no matter what he did. If he had lost her he would have lost one of the few people he could count on again and again.

The Sun bought an entire table. And out of the goodness of his heart he even gave Briggs the night off. The night off after he wrote up the event for the society column. Todd smiled Briggs was defiantly loyal had to say that for him, terrible dresser but loyal. Of course added a little traitors voice in Todd's head Blair bought the suit you're wearing tonight.

It was Blair who bought all your fancy ass clothes. He remembered Tea wanting to start over rebuild his whole wardrobe. He always thought it was probably some weird chick self improvement thing. But you couldn't really improve on Blair's taste.

Todd's mind slipped back to the master bedroom of the penthouse Tea was looking for a lint brush in his closet, what the hell a lint brush was he had no clue. Who the hell would want to brush their clothes with lint but Tea was a weird chick so whatever.

"Todd do you have a lint brush?" she chirped.

"How could I be married to this woman. If Bla..if my ex wife was bending over in a short skirt I would have had her in the closet so fast. His thoughts were interrupted by a shrill "Well do you?"

He shrugged "I give up do I what?"

"Have a lint brush" she was tapping her foot like she thought she was cute and pouty but she was really ... Todd looked for the word...

"Your not even listening!"

"Grating"

"What!!!!???"

Shit he had said that out loud. "Just thinking about stuff that needs to be fixed". No, I don't have a lint thingy. Stuff like that Blair took care of. Clothes too."

She sniffed "Really Blair had very...plain taste huh? I mean she never bought you anything really colorful."

Todd looked at her his amber eyes hardening trapping her like an insect. "Do I look like rainbow bright. Blair bought stuff she knew I'd wear."

"Todd if you want this marriage to work do not compare me to THAT woman. She may have some small sense of style but really that's about it."

She shrilled at him Damn this bitch is stupid he thought with some resignation smart lawyer definitely dumb at being a woman. Besides comparing Blair to Tea was kind of like comparing Araby and a jackass. The jackass was a hard worker but lacked in the looks department

"This is a business arrangement Tea, for my five million I damn well expect it's going to work."

She had huffed off in the other room and he flopped down on the bed drawing out from under his pillow the clipping from his and Blair's second wedding. Something else to be said for Briggs when he had asked him for the article he gave it to him from the archives without a word. Todd ran the pad of his thumb across Blair's face. "Damn babe why out of everyone in this town did it had to be Professor McPoet"

"Todd how good of you to come," Vicki's voice pulled him from the past back to the Palace. "I was hoping you would come but I honestly didn't expect you."

He smiled and replied in mock surprise "And miss spending time with my favorite brother in law next to hop along cord how could I stay away."

Vicki smiled slightly at her baby brother but shook her head reproachfully "Behave Todd."

"Behave, be yourself, Jeez pick one Vicki."

Bender seeing his beloved Blondie talking to a man he considered Satan incarnate hurried over. "Todd how are you? How's the newspaper business?"

Todd rolled his eyes a response he had always believed he'd picked up from Blair. "Fine, and you how's that..umm what is it that you do anyway besides almost getting my sister killed by a Marlene Brando Godmother mob princess wannabe?"

Bender grimaced "Gee Todd that's a great headline why didn't you use it?"

He smiled "You missed it? Eighty four percent of people who read the paper in lainview didn't. I assume you can read right?"

"Todd there is no need to attack Ben, we are all here to support the same thing." Vicki glared at him.

God his sister from all appearances was getting some you would think she'd be more pleasant, although considering where she was getting it from...

"Fine Vicki's I'll go mingle." Then Todd did something that surprised all three of them, he leaned over and kissed Vicki's cheek and whispered to her "I missed you most of all scarecrow." He walked away without looking at her stunned but at the same time touched expression.

Not one to be left out for a minute Bender broke in "What did he say?"

Vicki smiled at the departing back of her brother. "Todd's version of I love you."

He heard her before he saw her. She was arguing with someone in the small alcove next to the steps to the dinning room and the coat check room. Todd leaned in and did what came naturally, he spied.

Blair was upset. Todd could hear that in the tone of voice she was using. The I am Blair I can survive anything voice.

"What is it with my husbands and the sluts they hire to take care of my daughter? Todd married Spanish Rose to take care of Starr and your playing naughty baby-sitter and big bad daddy with Skye Cummings, there's irony for you."

Max sounded confused "Why is it irony?"

Blair snorted "Her new last name cum....oh never mind."

From his vantage point Todd laughed silently "Babe you may have given me tomorrow's headline", Todd thought.

"Blair keep your voice down I realize you and Toddy may have always liked everyone to know your business but I prefer to behave like an adult."

"You wouldn't know adult behavior if it bit you in the butt," Blair laughed softly "Wait is that part of the attraction to Sty I mean skye ooh kinky."

Todd heard Blair's high heels clicking across the hard wood floor and was about to dart away when he head Blair gasp in surprise and pain. His fist response was so violent it frightened him "Nobody hurts my woman, no easy Todd she's not your woman any more, another voice won out though, She's Starr's mother." "Man between my voices and Vicki's alters we could start a softball team." Todd muttered. He decided to wait and see how Blair would handle the situation, if she were in any real trouble he would handle it.

Max hissed at Blair "You want to talk kinky, fine, I have a wife who wants to be with a reformed rapist but since I 'am not a rapist she won't let me touch her."

"GO to hell Max Holden oh sorry I mean Buchanan I don't want you to be Todd I just don't want to pick up whatever disease you may be picking up from Skye.

Todd grinned but could pick up the growing malice in Blair's voice. "Let's talk about adult behavior huh you're living a lie every time you call Asa Pa. Hell it's not like I care about Asa, after all I left him gasping on the floor like a fish out of water, but to do this to Renee, Max she gave you the money to help recover the twins."

Max snorted angrily "SHE DIDN'T give me the money, she bought Serenity Springs."

"It wasn't her fault Frank and Leslie were stolen."

"At least I knew it wasn't their mother who stole them unlike your child."

Blair reared back "Their mother was dead, although," Blair added "To be fair so was Todd at the time."

Max laughed "Too bad Toddy had to come back you had Thornheart to roll around with and Dylan had his wife."

There was the sharp crack of skin against skin and an exclamation of pain and surprise from Max followed by the sound of a small body being shoved against the wall. Todd balled his fists ready to inflict serious physical harm but the need to hear the rest of the conversation got the best of him.

Max hissed softly "You like this don't you Blair this is how you need it huh, a man holding you against the wall. Todd could hear the smirk "Is this how you and the impotent wonder conceived that psycho brat of yours, Toddy got a little rough and you were ready to go. Maybe that's what I've been doing wrong I've been treating you like a lady not use to that huh Blair."

Blair spoke to her bastard husband through clenched teeth "Let go of me."

Max could tell she was serious, he began to try and charm her "I hate treating you this way Blair, I do love you..."

"You don't know a damn thing about loving me Holden."

Max snarled back at her "At least I was lucky enough to have been married to someone who never stopped loving me."

"Gee Max you mean when you were married to Luna and screwing me or now while you're married to me and screwing Skye." Blair met Max eye to eye and Todd could feel the electric charge coming from his she wolf. "Besides you'll never understand how much Todd and I loved each other."

"You're right I don't understand the love you two had. You lied to Todd and he married you because you were knocked up. The best thing that could have happened to you was that miscarriage too bad Toddy found out the ba..."

They both acted at once Blair raised her knee and contacted with Max's groin just as Todd came out of his hiding place with both fists raised. Blair started for a second but composed herself quickly." Her green eyes were sparkling with tears, his own amber eyes burned with anger and something else; a look that Blair could swear she knew from a golden shower of balloons at the Palace, a darkened stable, and one night one Christmas when she, like the little drummer boy, gave the best gift she had the gift of herself.

Todd knew this could be their moment, the moment they could pull it together and finally have it all. In one instance they were 6 years younger and more naive as well as their real selves. They stood looking at each other with eyes that had each seen the worst of each other as well as the best. They stood in an alcove and it was a reception desk at Lainview airport one fateful night when an act of violence would destroy their happily ever after. It was all tied together in this moment their past and their future.

Todd always claimed later that what followed was the stupidest comment he had ever made besides to say to a stranger in an Irish pub on night "Give me your coat."

It was the line from that stupid movie with Patrick Swazy, the one with the dancing chick with the huge honker. When she was pregnant Blair watched that movie a billion times.

He met her green eyes and smiled a smile with no sarcasm no malice just amused embarrassment. Nobody puts Blair in a corner."

She met his smile with one of her own a smile so reminiscent of one she had given him one night when he had been to stupid to take what was offered. She took his offered hand and stepped over her still writhing moaning husband "You know it's nobody puts Baby in a corner."

He shook his head "Nobody puts my babe in a corner."

Together they turned and walked hand in hand into the ballroom of the Palace.

"Blair," whined Max "Are you going to get help Hon, honey."

The band was just beginning to play when they walked down the steps together hand and hand.

"I think we missed the speeches." Todd whispered to Blair.

Blair surveyed the Palace ballroom "Do you remember Todd our wedding reception just you, me, and Starr. Our family was just starting our lives together had a future that ended with us together. Do you ever think about that for three days you and I had the entire world."

"You're my world Blair nothing since has been worth a damn. Hell you turned me off for any other woman. "No. Blair that was a life time ago I'm thinking future."

She pulled her hand back "I have to go apologize to Max." Blair turned and started heading back to the alcove.

"Where do you think your going, why would you apologize to that that that moron!?"

Blair's eyes were filled with tears again "What can I say when you're right your right Todd. You're my past and Max for better or worse is my future."

He caught her by the hand. She didn't fight him but he could feel her how ready to run from him she was. "Don't run away from me Blair."

Her voice caught and ripped at him. "Why because you would hunt me to the ends of the earth?" She was in pain again because of him.

He touched her face and she leaned against his hand.
He didn't say a word to her just led her to the dance floor

They passed Briggs and Mrs. Briggs. Todd smiled at them and Briggs returned the smile with one of his own. After thirty years in the news business Charlie Briggs had learned that sometimes things were exactly what they appeared. He laughed to himself Todd Manning would never realize that when ever Blair was around him Todd was some one who was almost human. During the ill fated second Mrs Manning incident, something which Briggs refused to refer to as a marriage, Todd was nearly impossible to work for.

Todd leaned over to Briggs and whispered something. Briggs smiled "Sure boss" he nodded at both of them and took his wife's hand. They walked away.

"What did you ask him Todd?"

"This may be the most I ever say to you at one time so listen, Blair when I told you that time after we you know you thanked me for Araby, I told you that you make me feel and you do you make me feel angry when you lie to me because you should know I see right through it sometimes when I see you with other me it makes me so angry I want to kill them or you.."

Blair frowned at him "You know Todd I'm feeling something right now."

"Blair, shut up, let me finish. Then there are these times when I just run into you or when I pick up Starr and I look at you and I feel something that I can't put a name on. I know I want you I know that I need you I know that every time I looked at Tea I wanted it to be you looking at me.

She shook her head "It could have been."

No it couldn't I need some company someone to talk to someone that I didn't have to worry or care is she was happy or sad or home sick.."

"You're describing a collie not a person."

"No the collie I would have been concerned about, at least they're loyal. Could you have done that to yourself to Starr? Ripped her away from home, her family, her life just like you every time the county came to pick you up every time a different bed a different life?" She had her eyes closed "Blair am I making sense?"

Blair nodded slowly "Yeah sort of But Todd I just hurt so bad inside where I never let anyone except you. I heard from a mole at the SUN that you were in town for five days. I bought so many red outfits suits dresses because I knew you loved me in red. I waited every night at Dorian's with candles and flowers because I thought you came back for us for me for Starr." She faced him fully meeting him eye for eye striping away covers and defenses "I was waiting for you to claim me because I have belonged to you since the first night at Rodi's. I belong to you and you have always come back for what is yours."

They both stood silent out of words seeing each other clearly for the first time in nearly 6 years. The d.j.'s amplified voice broke through their moment of truth. "This song is dedicated to my one true babe, the she wolf of Lainview."

Blair smiled at him and laughed softly "oh excuse me who are you, Gandhi
In a half dream Blair Daimler Cramer Buchanan Manning Manning Buchanan (but really Holden) allowed herself to be lead to the center of the dance floor by her ex-husband. She looked toward the ballroom ceiling for an instant, almost expecting a shower of golden balloons to descend. Todd who knew her as well as she knew herself looked upward and smiled.

"Next time babe, promise."

As they began to move to the music Todd leaned close to Blair "I hope Briggs asked for the right song, otherwise I might be using The Chicken Dance to tell you how I feel". His breath caused the few delicate ringlets the framed her face to brush against her shoulders. She shivered slightly.

"Are you cold," Todd asked knowing full well she wasn't.

"I was for a long time but I think I'm warming up."

Todd Manning laughed out loud causing more than a few people to cast looks in their direction.

Finally the music introduction was over and Stings When We Dance began to play. Todd leaned closer to Blair and began to speak the words to the song in her ear holding her even tighter than before.

IF HE LOVED YOU
LIKE I LOVE YOU
I WOULD WALK AWAY IN SHAME
I'D MOVE OUT OF TOWN I'D CHANGE MY NAME

Todd whispered to her "Blair the whole time I was away you were always there for me in my mind in my heart where it counts."

WHEN HE WATCHES YOU
WHEN HE COUNTS TO BUY YOUR SOUL
ON YOUR HAND HIS GOLDEN RINGS

Todd reached up to Blair's right hand which was resting on his shoulder. He took it in his own hand and studied her wedding and engagement rings from Max. Todd looked into Blair's eyes, looked straight into her soul and saw the constant pain that was inflicted on Blair by the men who claimed to love her. Slowly waiting for her to stop him but praying she wouldn't Todd began to slid off the slender golden rings that bound her to a man who could never see her true self the real worth of this incredible woman.

She looked at him and nodded, softly with unshed tears in voice Blair spoke to him nearly the same words that had started the road which they had traveled together and apart for six years
"Oh Todd, I'm so sorry, you died.

Todd looked at the rings he held in his hand briefly before sticking them in his pocket "What can I say Blair, I can't do anything right."

LIKE HE OWNS THE BIRD THAT SINGS

Todd gently leaned toward Blair's lips giving her every opportunity to pull away. Blair wound her arms back around his neck and met his lips with her own. She could feel him whisper her name against her lips. Her name a prayer and a thank you to the almighty for showing Thomas Todd Manning that "while someone down there liked him someone up above was pretty damn fond of him too.

WHEN WE DANCE
ANGELS WILL RUN AND HIDE THEIR WINGS

Blair deep in herself could her the reactions to their homecoming around them and she knew this was danger, this was self destruction, but this was also her soul becoming complete.

They broke apart and continued to ignore speculation around them.

THE PRIEST HAS SAVED MY SOUL
SALVATION IS THE HANDS OF THE ANGELS
AND UNDERNEATH THE WHEELS OF PASSION

The tears that had been threatening to spill from Blair's eyes began to flow. Todd brushed his hand against her cheek. Blair looked down trying to hide her lapse into weakness. Putting his hand firmly under her chin Todd raised her down turned face

"What, I'm just wiping away your tears.
Blair shook her head "I'm not crying."
"What Blair you just got wind in your eyes."

He whispered to her once more grazing the rim of her left earlobe with his lips
I KEPT THE FAITH IN MY FASHION

WHEN WE DANCE ANGELS WILL RUN AND HIDE THEIR WINGS

Todd brought his lips to her other ear lobe and nibbled that one as well whispering again
I "'m STILL IN LOVE WITH YOU

WHEN WE DANCE ANGELS WILL RUN AND HIDE THEIR WINGS

I'M GONNA LOVE YOU MORE THAN LIFE
IF ONLY YOU'LL BE MY WIFE
I'M GONNA LOVE YOU NIGHT AND DAY
I'M GONNA TRY IN EVERY WAY

Blair couldn't stop the tears from falling she was finally home; safe and loved, when she should be the happiest she'd ever been she couldn't forget the angry words, the actions meant to destroy her. She couldn't let herself fall back into Todd's arms just because her marriage to Max hadn't worked.

She and Todd were dangerous together, their love was so all encompassing that it nearly destroyed both of them. If they couldn't be happy together they made each other so miserable while apart that the thoughts of their coming back together were pushed to the back burner repeatedly for years at a time. Tea had been a device to punish her with just as her flaunting her affair with Ian had been meant to show him she was desired by other men.

Todd could feel the change that was coming over her. Suddenly he was losing ground that he had just regained. No, not now when promises could be fulfilled.

"Blair don't you see We're getting a chance to do it all over again? We'll get it better this time."

WHEN WE DANCE ANGELS WILL RUN AND HIDE THEIR WINGS

"Until I disagree with you and you find some other whore nanny to try and take my place."

"No one in the world could take your place in my life."

I"M GONNA FIND A PLACE TO LIVE
I"M GONNA GIVE YOU ALL I'VE GOT TO

"Blair come home, tonight with me"

"Where's home Todd?"

"Where ever you, me, and shorty are together."

The music picked up tempo and with all the passion that Todd Manning had he spoke the lyrics to Blair willing her to see what was in his heart.

I WOULD LOVE YOU MORE THAN LIFE
IF YOU'D ONLY BE MY WIFE

Blair looked at him scared but as sure as she had ever been of anything "I want it all Todd; you, me, our family, can you give me that Todd, I want it all?"

"It's right here Blair, it's been here all along." They came together in the middle of the dance floor that had seen their golden hopes and broken reflections. They came together and their lips met once more sealing the deal between the soul mates from hell who lived by their own rules and built their own paradise.

IF I COULD BREAK DOWN THESE WALLS
AD SHOUT MY NAME AT HEAVEN'S GATE
I'D TAKE THESE HANDS
AND DESTROY THE MACHINERY'S OF FATE,
CATHEDRALS ARE BROKEN
HEAVEN'S THE ONE ABOVE
HELLFIRE'S A PROMISE AWAY
I'D STILL BE SAYING
I"M STILL IN LOVE
STILL IN LOVE
STILL IN LOVE
STILL IN LOVE

HE WON'T LOVE YOU

"Babe can I be the one to tell Maxi?"

"What like an early wedding present?"

LIKE I LOVE YOU

HE WON'T CARE FOR YOU THIS WAY

"I never stopped loving you Blair you do believe that?"

He'll MISTREAT YOU WITH DISDAIN

"I swear I will never hurt you again"

Blair looked in to his amber eyes. "I believe you."

COME AND LIVE WITH ME
WE'LL HAVE CHILDREN OF OUR OWN
I WOULD LOVE YOU MORE THAN LIFE
IF You'll COME AND BE MY WIFE

"You're sure? You want me?"

"I don't want anything else except you Todd, can I have you?"

WHEN WE DANCE WILL RUN AND HIDE THEIR WINGS

I HAD A DREAM LAST NIGHT
DREAMT YOU WERE BY MY SIDE

"In between the nightmares Blair, while I was gone, there was you calming me enough to at least get a few hours. The dreams were almost the worst though because I'd wake up and you weren't there."

WALKING WITH MY BABY
MY HEART IS FILLED WITH PRIDE

The music came to an end and half the ballroom was staring at Blair and Todd the other half trying to pretend they hadn't noticed a thing.

Todd looked around and grinned. "We just did our second wedding reception over, wanna go relive our first date."

Blair smiled at him, that smile that had sealed his fate one Christmas night "Araby just fathered a mare, I think I need to show you just how much I love Araby. Let's go to the stable."

Together before Dorian or Vicki could reach their prospective charges Todd and Blair snuck out the French doors."

Todd and Blair slipped out the french doors of the Palace. They were alone on the wide veranda. For the first time since Blair had taken his offered hand a half hour before he could finally study her. She wore a floor length gown of red velvet with a corset sort of top that pushed her breasts up and out to nearly illegal limits.

Todd reached out a finger to trace the swell of her breasts.
"This is definitely an at home dress."

Blair frowned "You don't like it?"

"You look incredible but that's a for my eyes only dress."

"Todd Manning don't tell me you still get jealous when a man looks at me."

"I don't care about the looking it's what the man is thinking that pisses me off."

They lapsed into silence studying each other neither sure who was the predator or the prey.

Blair tossed her hair breaking the spell. She stepped closer to him, he could feel the heat radiating from her body and wondered could she feel his burning for her.

"I want you."

Todd pulled her to him "God Blair you look so beautiful in this light."

She reached up and pushed a stray lock of hair behind his ear. "So do you"

"I know I've said this before but I have never wanted you more than I do right here, right now."

Blair touched her lips to his "Teach me how to fly again Todd" Their lips meet Todd at first just exploring the well remembered contours of her mouth, his hands slipping lower down her back teasing the bare flesh.

"I don't know where they are Dorian."

"Well after your degenerate brother mauled my girl in there who knows where he could have dragged her off to"

Todd pulled Blair into the cover of some elegant potted palms as the observed the two grand dames of Lainview discussing them.

Dorian turned her nose up at Vicki. "Where could they be."

Vicki shook her head "Kevin said he saw them go out here."

Dorian snorted delicately "I beg you consider the source."

"I think Kevin knows what Todd looks like."

"I can't imagine what Blair could be thinking."

"Oh Dorian the thought of watching them destroy each other all over again doesn't thrill me either but they're adults."

The two woman squared off staring each other down like over dressed gunslingers.

Vicki continued "I spoke to Tea this morning."

"Oh I am sorry Vicki, what an awful way to start the day."

"She wants my help reconciling her and Todd."

Dorian brought herself to her full height. "I do not approve of Blair and the town's loose cannon joining together again, but in some warped way Todd Manning makes Blair and Starr happy. I certainly can't like him but for their sake I can abide him. If what Blair wants is that Neanderthal and you or that Ally McBeal obsessed ex wife of his get in her way," Dorian leaned closer to Vicki "all the kings horses and all the kings men won't be able to put you together again. It won't be a second story window rest assured."

Vicki sputtered but Dorian had already made her way back to the ballroom.

"Oh Todd please where ever you are don't forget what should really matter, respectability." Vicki followed her nemesis back into the ballroom.

Todd and Blair emerged from their hiding place both silent hearing unpleasant truths about themselves is often the price eavesdroppers pay.

Blair began to tremble "I must have gone crazy for a minute I can't do this."

"What!?"

Blair pulled away "You still want her don't you at least when I slept with Patrick I thought you were dead you married a woman while I was comatose." Blair was beginning to go into hysterics "Why are you here Todd really, you got your paper I let you see Starr why do you need me."

Todd swept her up into his arms and began to walk down the slope to the stable complex.

"Todd, put me down," Blair whispered urgently.

She met her eyes with her own each mirroring the others desires and fell silent."

They reached the stable door.
"You want to know Blair why, why I need you because you are my other half we're not like my goody goody sister we make our own rules and change them when ever because we can. I don't want to change you and you don't want to change me which is fine because we can't change we can hide our true selves for a little while but when we unleash there's usually a body count. I want you in a way no other man has wanted you, I want you for who you are."

Todd stepped away from her and rested a hand on the stable door. "Point of no return Blair take what I'm offering and there's no turning back."

Blair licked her lips like a cat " What are you offering."

"Acceptance Blair and me." He offered her his hand.

Blair reached out her own halfway.

Todd smirked "Meet you halfway huh Blair?"

Blair's eyes glowed in the moonlight "I want you Todd."

He took her by the hand.

Together they entered the stable.

------------------------------------------------------------
Time to think about it
It's the chance to live your life
And discover what it is...
It's the gravity of love.
-Enigma

Blair and Todd stepped into the stable. An oil lantern cast a soft glow over the stable. Blair's eyes were draw to a silver bucket containing a bottle of Champagne. Next to the ice bucket were two long stemmed wine glasses and a perfect red rose.

"Todd, how did you set this up," she smiled "Was I that much of a sure thing?"

Todd took her into his arms "No, I asked Briggs to make it happen, I figured worse case scenario I'd be down here alone hanging out with your horse drinking fizzy grape juice figuring out how to blow up Max."

"You never change do you?"

Todd leaned toward her stopping a bare inch from her mouth "I thought we went over that, I don't change not ever not for anyone."

She moved without thought without the caution that Blair Cramer had schooled herself in over the past years. She met his lips with hers and wound her arms around his neck. Told exhaled in surprise and Blair took that as an opportunity to slip her tongue into his mouth. Todd moaned against her inquisitive tongue touching it at first tentatively with his own. When he was satisfied by the knowledge that she was not going to pull away he began to explore the crevices of her lips with his own tongue teasing them with his teeth.

Todd ran his hands down her back taking the zipper of her dress down. Blair moaned against his mouth in protect as he pulled away from their embrace. "Todd?" she questioned nervously praying she hadn't put herself forward again only to be rebuffed.

"Did Max buy that dress for you?"

Blair shook her head in confusion "No I got it from a designer friend of Dorian's, why?"

"Because if that moron bought it for you I wouldn't be as carful doing this" with that he hooked his thumbs under the shoulder straps and slid them down Blair's arms she never moved allowing him to slid off her formal gown until she stood in a molten silken red puddle. Under her gown she wore a silk red push up bra made from a fabric similar to her discarded dresses fabric a very brief pair of red silk french cut panties a grater belt and thigh high silk stockings. Blair was a tall woman to begin with but she looked like a pin up come to life standing there before him in that get up wearing three inch satin pumps.

"Oh Jesus," Todd sighed

Blair smiled coyly "No but close."

"I want you"

"I know"

"Do you want me Blair?"

She reached forward and traced from the scar on his cheek down to the top button of his shirt with one tapered finger nail "When are you going to take in the fact that you're the only man I'll ever want?"

Todd took her hand and used it to pull him against her. He lowered her hand to the now prominent bulge in his dress pants "I've known that all along, I was just waiting for you to realize it."

She caressed his erection through the fabric of his pants.

"Do you still want me Todd?"

He answered quietly as honestly as he could "I never stopped wanting you."

She pressed herself against his groin "Then show me"

He took off his jacket spreading it across the hay he then turned back to her and swept her into his arms once again putting his lips against hers as he lowered her to the ground.

In the lamplight they cast shadows on the walls shadows of the past and present coming together to fuse into a future for these two soul mates from hell.

Blair rapidly unbuttoned Todd's shirt and helped him struggle out of it without breaking contact from his lips he moaned her name against her lips into her mouth as she raked her finger nails down his back in retaliation he teased her nipples with his thumbs through the fabric of her bra. When he stopped to slid his hands around to the hooks of her bra Blair whimpered.
