We "squareheads" know how to make some truely disgusting foods and we just love to get our olive-skinned city friends to try them. Perhaps I could pipe some into a cannoli for you?

Lutefisk is cod soaked in lye. It turns the cod into a sort of fish jello. (gag...choke) The big dumb Swedes love it, I've never gotten closer than arm's length to it. (Ewwww..Yuck!)

As for rutabagas, they are usually an ingredient in Shepards pie (along with potato). It's sort of like a turnip.

Now stop being a rotten wop!
