It's hard to find the time to do the things I know I need to do, let alone to do other important stuff, like make contributions to this world while I'm shuffling around in it. Does it count if you try to be a good parent, or in general a good person? I made a little New Year's resolution to at least try and read more, to increase my awareness. I feel like such a slug sometimes, mentally and physically.

Before Gumdrop was born, I used to tutor in the Trenton Literacy Program. I miss that, but parenting and working just crowded it out. Mapguy, Gumdrop and I volunteer through our church when we can, but somehow I feel like it's not quite enough.
