Subject: Do you like that show, Tom? I haven't seen it, but I've read some good reviews.
In reply to: TomG. 's message, ""The Wire"...new season starts tonight on HBO. Heavy duty cop/drug series based in Baltimore. last season was worth the effort to learn the players...hope this season turns out as good...got to watch SOMETHING while waiting for the Sopranos...nt" on 18:45:04 06/01/03 Sun

I miss "The Sopranos." After that incredible finale (boy, does Edie Falco ROCK or what?), I'm wondering how they're going to pick things up again in the new season. I have a feeling that Furio isn't too long for this world. Too bad -- I *like* him.

Hey, when we were in Quebec, I saw this grate tee shirt. Have you seen the group photo of "The Sopranos" that HBO uses all the time? It has all the main characters standing together, more or less next to each other, with Tony in the middle and standing more towards the front, with his arms folded across his chest. The tee shirt had the same kind of poses, except with all characters from "The Simpsons." Homer was front and center, and Marge was posed like Carmela, etc. And "The Simpsons" was written exactly like "The Sopranos" logo, except that instead of a downward-facing gun for the "r", there was a donut for the "o" in "Simpsons." It was really funny, and now I'm annoyed with myself for not buying it.

Do you watch "Six Feet Under"?
