...our jersey City "hill" was the southern terminus of the great Palisades, elevation approx. 70 feet which was rock and debris strewn, but fun-a-minute!

...your dirt clods were universally called dirt bombs and the cute chip I'm still missing on my front tooth was from a direct hit to the mouth. The pitiful part is I hit myself in the mouth while using a new technique in dirt bomb warfare...the rapid fire, between the leg, face your ass towards the enemy position. The failure came when the ammo got stuck between my fingers and flipped up, instead of back.

What a great block that was.
