Subject: GSAC tourney a reality?

There has been a lot written on the NAIA board about a dream preseason tournament pitting the SAC vs GSAC. Granted, why would a GSAC team want to travel to OK/TX/AR? There is more incentive for SAC teams to head west. All that is understood, but if both conferences actually put those issue on the back burner how many schools in the SAC could afford to spend a weekend in SoCal? I know WBU, LCU and others have made that trip. It seems as if WBU makes one "fun-in-the-sun" trip each year. How many SAC schools do the same? Aside from the discussion about playing softies to pad our records, would it be feasible for the majority of SAC schools to make a SoCal run every other year?

I think OBU does a big trip every other year...Which would work out fine.

I don't care if SoCal was the Garden of Eden, there's no reason they shouldn't be able to make a trip to the midwest to play real competition every other year. I thought this was an athletic league, not a travel agency.
