If Win had done something horrible, I don't know why OCU would make him a special assistant to the president.

Perhaps people just want there to be more to the story. Maybe there is. Or maybe it's just like the press release said. I don't know.

At any rate, I'd love for Dean Blevins to read my press releases on the air. That was classic last night.

Underlying in all of this, I fear, is the deluded notion by the "powers that be" at OCU that they are going to make a run at D-1 and become "Oklahoma City's Unversity".

The Mayor has approached them in the past year with this idea and they may think they need a high-powered coach to do this.

If this, indeed, had any part in Win's dismissal, it is laughable.

OCU has about as much chance of going D-1 as Ray does cheering for the Yankees.
