Good luck to all SAC teams. Women's side was way down this year and I would be surprised if we have anyone make the championship game. Men's best chance is with OC or JBU. Lubbock has no inside game on either end, OCU lacks the discipline it takes, and you do not know which OBU team will show up. I will be very surprised if any team makes the final game this year men or women.

Normally, I'd feel good about an 8 seed for OC, but it sticks in my craw that Union got a 7 seed. OC plays in a tougher conference, has a better record and beat Union head-to-head by double digits, at Union. That merits a higher seed, period.

That one degree of difference means that OC probably will have to face Mountain State in the quarters instead of an easier opponent.

As for the other SAC teams, OBU got a dream first-round game against a Frontier Conference team, but the Bison won't get past Georgetown in the second round.

LCU could get to the quarters, but again would probably run into G-town. OCU is probably out in the first round against Mobile, and John Brown should beat Union, but lose to LSU-Shreveport in the second round.

It doesn't look like there are any cake walks in the first round to me.

Brescia had MSU down by 12 with 10 minutes to go in the second half. If it weren't for a 29 point half by Daniels, they probably would have pulled it out. As it is, they lost by 7.

Westminster is a tough draw as well. Like Ray said, they run that Princeton offense that is just tough to guard. They beat Azusa at APU earlier in the year.

Lubbock might have the toughest draw of them all. They have good wins against Azusa, Biola and Concordia. Terrance Johnson is a 6'5" guard that transferred from Pepperdine. He's one of the best players in the nation.

OCU is one and done. Mobile is legit. They have a big win against LSU-Shreveport, a team that thumped the Bison in Shawnee, as well as 3 wins against tourney bound Xavier.

JBU might actually have a shot against Union if Cole drops around 30. I think Union is way overrated...they always are.
