Subject: The Pheonix Promotion Report: Disturbance Angles Phenom Ensign and MORE!!!

Hello boys and Girls welcome to another edition of Backstage with me The Informer

Disturbance

First off Disturbance was a solid Pay Per View all things considering. As you well know Ensign Pheonix up and quit The Pheonix Promotion (which I'll talk about later on in the report) and the long standing feud between him and Phenom was brought to a screeching hault. Pheonix rushed to put together a spectacular match and that he did. He picked four guys that are gonna be on top for a long time here. Phenom came out on top and is back in the saddle as the true leader and Franchise that he is

Disturbance also saw the debuts of Mike Madrake and Springheel Jack, two guys I believe are gonna be big time stars here in due time.

Phenom

I talked to Phenom after his World Title Match, he seemed in good spirits about having to carry the Pheonix Promotion on his shoulders again. Pheonix is really happy to have Phenom the good guy back, there's lots of money to be made off this proven commodity. Although Phenom won't get a chance to be as creative as he's been in recent years he's said to be fine with the role he has to play now. He understands that he has to be a leader until things open up a bit in The Pheonix Promotion.

Backstage Turmoil

Ensign Pheonix's departure coupled with an influx and promotion of new talent to the big stage cause a bit of backstage upheaval and some scuffles were reported between the talent. But after this Blaze thigns have seemed to calm down. Management seems to be excited about the new direction but the wrestlers are grumbling. But Pheonix has proven time and time again that he knows what he's doin. So I'm sure that whatever's goin on between Management and The Talent will be cleared up soon.

Ensign Pheonix

Ensign has left the building. He was the ultimate face, the people loved him he was Excalibur World Champion, he had it all. So why did he leave. We may never know, Ensign said it was for personal reasons. There are some rumors to a shift in the change of his characters direction that he may not agreed with or there's the rumor (which i prefer not to believe) that he didn't want to put over one of the new guys coming up from UCW that Pheonix felt had Main Event Potential, that wouldn't make any sense because he benfited from the excat same thing from Phenom. It's a shame that his legacy here will end up being Phenom's greatest rival instead of a guy who won a lot of gold and entertained alot of fans.

Showtime

The original plan was for Showtime and Shawn Hunter to team up but with Shawn Hunter's departure that plan's been scrapped. This whole American Idol type competition is either gonna pull major ratings or be a huge bust. Pheonix hasn't revealed who the winner will be yet but expect them to get a huge push once they are formed and ready to go.

Angles

Look for the Angles to go more in depth with the passing weeks. A Venom and Nobody feud along with a Mike Madrake Springheel Jack feud is being established. Look for Y2K's big feud to come in soon and one for Phenom and Vic Vegas as well. The Pheonix Promotion is aiming to tell good three dimensional stories that extend outside of the ring area so we'll see what happens

That's all folks see you next time
