What's up MWI Fans The Informer is back and ready to give you the lowdown on whats goin on in the MWI

Massacre

What a Massacre we saw last week! With Pheonix Masters taking the helm himself the show has jumped from mediocre to Damn good in one show. People all around are excited about the product and fans have been buzzing about what's gonna happen next week.

The real standout moment was of course the debut of the Tripel Threat. Mad Max's debut was a complete surprise and Chris Revolver's was long overdue. And to put them together was a stroke of genius.

The Table Match Between The Cutting Edge and Stiv Zero was cool as well, it's gonna be interesting to see what direction Stiv Zero's gonna go in.

The Ladder Match was brutal and it was a great win for HVD, Johny Rotten has some injuries and some contract disputes that will keep him of TV for a while, Pheonix was pleased with his professionalism. And we hope to see him back soon.

Perfect Storm is a team that also shows a lot of promise. Deve and Mason work well together so It'll be good to see them in action int he future.

The Puppet Masters

Great to see these guys back doing what they do best, shaking things up. And with Pheonix giving them carte blanche they seem to be more menacing than ever. Only time will tell if they align themselves with The Triple Threat to make that heel faction even stronger. They didn't seem to be antagonizing one particular person like they did Phenom and Fury in their first run. It just looked like they were in charge, perhaps they will just play boss roles but it'd be a pity because you can really build a show around them.

The Triple Threat

Whoever had this idea should get a raise as Pheonix once again dives into the formula that has made hims succesful time and time again. Create a superheel group and watch the ratings flourish. These three along with their manager Lia Fox who is the hottest little thing I've ever seen are sure to make an impact sooner rather than later. They all seem to compliment eachother perfectly and wills ettle into their roles quickly and become a huge force.

Paul Maxx

I see Paul Maxx being the frontman for the group, the Superstar, The Main Eventer, much like Phenom existed in The Dynasty Like Jagger and the Stones or Jordan and the Bulls He'll do a lot of the talking and grab a lot of the heat for the group from the crowd as MWI fans seem to hate Paul Maxx more than anyone.

Mad Max Mercury

I see him being the leader/enforcer of the group. The Old Wise Samurai that will guide these new younger superstars to greatness. He keeps a cool head under pressure and will be able to put out a lot of group fires and settle alot of conflicts. He played a similar role in the New Blood Team of The Wisdom and The Crow in The Pheonix Promotion and both (especially The Wisdom) went on to become major Superstars. Not to Mention He's also the grandmaster of Hardcore.

Chris Revolver

Boy did I drool when this guy walked into the ring. I watched this guy wrestle in UCW and he has the potnetial to become one of The MWI's top stars not to mention one of the all time greats. He's in a very unique position, he gets a chance to develop alongside one of Pheonix E's all time great superstars and a World Champion who is currently the best in The Buisness. Revolver will be forced to come up tot heir level quickly in order to be viewd as an equal memeber of this team but Pheonix wouldn't have put him in this position if he weren't ready.

I see him playing the role of the Hot Young Star. Pheonix is always looking for them and boy did he find one in Revolver. He will be the young guy that has to prove himself until he matures and gets acclimated to the MWI style then I see him being the Ring tactican/technician of the group. we're all gonna hear about how good Chris Revolver is in the ring.

Backstage Heat

Some have said that The wrestlers backstage are angry at the rise of The Triple Threat and are concerned about Pheonix's plans to build The MWI around them. Some wrestler have been outspoken about Mad Max, a guy who has just arrived here and Chris Revolver, a rookie, and Lia Fox, a woman, getting such a big push to the forefront. Pheonix hopes that some of the guys on the lower card will step up their game to match the intensity of Fox Mercury Maxx and Revolver.

Pheonix's speech at the beginning of Massacre was rumored to be based on real feelings that he had about the MWI product. He felt that many people were lazy and that's why ratings fell so quickly. But he feels now that he has a roster with a stronger work ethic and considering the show last week I think he's right.

New Direction

The MWI has definetly upped the violence. Last Thursday was a very violent show and I expect that to continue as Pheonix tries to create the MWI format. The work rate in the ring was great this week, not quite as polished as The Pheonix Promotion matches but hey, it's not supposed to be. I do hope to see more pure wrestling on Massacre as they have some of the best wrestlers in Pheonix E.

Massacre is really becoming starkly different from Blaze as Pheonix builds this new brand to an exciting future

That's all kids See you next week
