Subject: Translation: Holding Hands with Big Brother Leon Lai, Zhao Wei Tastes the Feeling of Performing in America and Canada for the First Time

In few more days, it will be the year of snake. Our little dragon girl Zhao Wei, concluding on her performance of the year, presented us with an extremely beautiful progress report. Zhao Wei not only filmed QiongYao's television show, but also a movie by Stephen Chow (ShaoLing Soccer), not to mention that she even tasted the feeling of performing in America and Canada for the first time near the conclusion of this dragon year.

In reality, with Zhao Wei's fame in mainland, countless entertainment companies have asked her to perform live in concerts, because if Little Swallow agrees to sing, all is necessary for these companies is to wait for the incoming of money. However, Zhao Wei, facing tons of money presented by all these companies, was not moved; instead, she agreed to be Leon Lai's guest star in his 2000 America-canada concert.

These two people met through the central TV station a year ago. At that time, they have already discussed about the possible opportunity for cooperating together. Coincidentally, Leon Lai was invited to perform outer sea. As a tradition, Leon Lai invites a lady guest star to sing with him in the concert; in the past, he have invited Su Qi. This time, he suggested to his company to invite Little Swallow. The America-Canada company of course agreed to it quickly. Zhao wei also accepted the invitation because she wished to further open her perspective to the world by going to America and Canada. Originally, some companies have already contacted Zhao Wei, hoping to invite her to sing in America, however after Zhao Wei thought it over carefully, she felt that she would rather sing with someone such as Leon Lai for her first time in America; in doing so, she can obtain experiences from the performances this time and prepare for her future challenge of performing alone.

As a guest star to Leon Lai's concert, Zhao Wei only sang three songs. Of course, out of these three songs, there is the extremely familiar song-{There Is A Girl} from [Huan Zhu Ge Ge]. Because many audiences have watched the TV show, now being able to see her splendor performance live, the response was full of fervor.

This America-Canada trip, her first stop is at Los Angeles, then Toronto, San Francisco, and New York. Out of these four places, she sang 5 performances. Even though this is the first time that Little Swallow sang on stage at America and Canada, but she had many previous experiences. Along with her, she brought many different clothing, wearing a different one at various locations. As usual, the point that was most liked by the audiences was her friendly attitude. Even when she talked in the little Cantonese she knew, she surprisingly received extraordinary good response from the audiences, who thought she was really vivacious. Though first time singing with Leon Lai, Zhao Wei and him talked a lot and had much understandings for each other. They even held hands when they entered the stage. Zhao Wei said; "I was scared that this will start unsatisfaction between the Leon's fan, but leon assured me that the fans knew that we only had sister-brotherly love. In reality, I have always thought of him as a big brother. I called him Big Brother Leon Lai all the time." Can you all see? Can you all picture Zhao Wei's cute face as she talked? Like all thought, Leon's fan accepted Zhao Wei completely.

America-Canada performance ended on December 24. However, Zhao Wei stayed after in New York with her friends, because she has never been to New York. With this opportunity, she conveniently took this chance to travel around. There after, she will be returning the ZhuHai, continuing to film Stephen Chow's movie.
