Ruby Lin and Vicki Zhao - 2 GeGes portraying "Ugly" roles in both their upcoming new films.

The recent movie trends in Hong Kong seems to be making actress portraying "ugly" roles. For Ruby, she was portrayed as an ugly and really big-mouth woman in "Man Hua Feng Yun". As for poor Vicki, she was also "uglified" in Stephen Chow's "Shaolin Football". These roles must have come totally unexpected for the 2 beautiful Geges.

In order to imagine how "ugly" Vicki is going to be, Stephen Chow explained that she will definitely be worse off than Karen Mok in "Food God" where Karen has no make-up on, frizzy hair and even a few teeth missing. However Stephen Chow commented positively about Vicki being able to sacrify beauty for the sake of art.
