Arctic lunged forward, lached his teeth to the doe's belly, and pulled with all his might. After about 60 seconds, Arctic realized he was not strong enough to rip the flesh, so he decided to just to pull off a chunk of it.

Arctic started to eat his meal with vigor. The flavor of the blood sent pleasure throughout his body. After many more trips to the doe, most of the meat was gone from the doe's belly, exept the intestines that lay on the ground, half-eaten.

Wiping his muzzle on the grass, Arctic walked over to the water to get a drink, and realized his whole head was covered in blood, so the pup jumped into the water to clean himself. He climbed out of the water and shook dry. After gettig a long drink, he lumbered back to Tlaiga......
