Subject: What sad times we've come to know...

Music is something that maybe people take for granite, it’s also a lot of peoples entire lives. Music for me was never anything special until I started to listen to PanterA in 95’. Their music was more then just music to me, it was a time in my life. During my PanterA years I learned to be myself, “fuck the trend” if you will. I became immersed in music and had to have it in every aspect of my life. My room became a breading ground for Metal Magazines; full page cut outs, posters, and concert tickets that I had collected thru the years.

As I said, PanterA helped me early on to become part of who I am. Dimebag’s guitar work was always something that left me in awe. My first concert that I ever went to was a PanterA concert in 96’, to this day it remains one of the best shows I have ever been to. My jaw dropped so may times during that concert, because I had never heard a guitar played like that before.

Dimebag helped pioneer the metal world into a deeper and heaver scene. Thru this many complex guitar solos and devastatingly tough guitar riffs we owe him much gratitude. I know that the music luckystar plays today has been influenced by Dimebag’s guitar work.

We must remember, as sad as it may be, Dime will live forever thru this amazing music that he has left for us. His music is his immortality.

Dime, I hope you had safe passage into the cemetery gates. You have nothing but my utmost respect.

R.I.P.
