Subject: Ok so i asked albert to write a bio on our band today and this is what i got!....amazing!

The hardcore scene is really going nowhere these days. It seems like bands focus way too much time on appearance and trying to get their hair the darkest shade of black humanly possible. Luckystar is not a hardcore band....at least not at heart. We grew up listening to bands like MxPx, Operation Ivy and NOFX; bands that are fast, catchy, and fun to listen to. I guess this is why the band's overall mentality is more about having fun, and enjoying the musical talent that we have been blessed with. As far as we are concerned, being labeled as hardcore is not the band's intention. Yes, our music is often heavy, fast, and loaded with breakdowns and screechy vocals, but WE ARE NOT TRYING TO BE TOUGH!! Nobody in our band has tattoos, or dyed black hair, and we definitely do not try to be "scene." If you ever come to a Luckystar show you will see 5 guys up on that stage that go totally crazy, and play their little hearts out. We love what we do! On stage we smile, make jokes, quote our favorite movies and laugh. The problem with being different in such a homogenous environment, such as the hardcore scene, is that some people will hate you for not conforming. Luckystar has received their fair share of hate mail, and verbal abuse from a lot of hardcore tough guys, and sometimes those words turn into fists. We do not go looking for trouble, but lets face it, people are assholes! Don't worry though, the negativity of the scene cannot keep us down. Luckystar has a pretty decent following these days. Our fans are the greatest people ever, and we work hard to keep them coming back to shows. We are thankful to have such loyal fans that totally believe in what we are doing. Without them...we would be nothing. Luckystar will continue to play and write as long as people are willing to listen. That's all I have to say.

Love,
Albert

P.S.- If you don't already have one...GROW A BEARD!!!
