It only takes him one hit to realize he had to move. He took a direct hit and a graze. He goes for the other stallions head, trying to trample it.

No! He races back towards Shetan, turning at the last second to lash out with his hind legs.

Panting heavily he looks up toward Shetan. I surrender. He looks down sadly but knows he made a wise desision.
