I guess it all depends on your point of view. there is good and evil in all things regardless of species, human or animal. Animals kill to survive and so do humans. If ether crosses the line, the animal is killed and in some cases so is the human. Since the vampire uses deception in order to catch it's pray, for example takes on the form and shape of the person it infected, in order to attack, then I think that it becomes evil. where as an animal like a lion or croc can only be themselves so they do what comes naturally. there have also been studies that show animals do not naturally attack humans, only in rear cases.
