we get them coming up to the back door. The biggest one here is 6ft2, he is one big bird. To answer your question spags they are a large flightless bird, there are only 70 left and we have 5 living on our property. They can be a bit vicious but you have to treat them like any wild animal, approach them with care and leave them alone and they will just walk away. Personally I think they are the ugliest things you ever would see but everyone else seems to think they are wonderful!?!
