We won portfolio at Sunburst last year. We started with a great headshot where she was looking directly at the camera and smiling. Then we had a fun shot, a 3/4 shot, and a full length shot. The middle picture was another headshot and then we started the process again - fun shot, a 3/4 shot and a full length shot. The last picture in the book was another awesome headshot. In some of the pics. she was standing, some she was sitting, some smiling, some not. I had a black and white in the front half and a black and white shot in the back half. All the rest were color in different outfits and with different backdrops/props. All I actually did was go to my local photographer and I told him what I wanted. We did like six outfit changes, took some photos indoors and some outdoors and then we sat down together and I chose which I liked and which I didn't. Then we cropped some to make them headshots and 1/2 body shots, 3/4 shots and so forth. I brought props and we used some of his props. It was actually very fun to do. It just looked like she was having fun in many of the photos. Some, of course, were staged so they looked more formal and some were just take it while you can shots. Hope this helps.
