You are good at what you do.. I am the director of
Starry Eyez Pagents in Northern California. I have been haing the hardest time finding creative ways to advertise. How do most pageant moms find out where a pageant will be. How do you usually find out about local competitions? Also if you are ever in California I would love to have you host a one hour seminar for pageant moms. Can we hire you??

Most of the time, I found out about pageants on local voy boards that I frequent, by picking up paperwork at another pageant and from word-of-mouth referrals by pageant friends. Basically, I think you should just stick with it, and like any initial investment, be prepared to invest money at first to make a go. For example, don't cancel or shortchange gifts or crowns for lack of contestants - nothing will end your system faster. While we have been somewhat disappointed at the numbers at some pageants as we advanced, most newbies are just delighted to have the chance to compete and receive awards. Develop a reputation for always holding the pageant regardless of numbers and you will build a following of people who know that they can count on you. Best of luck! (p.s. Unfortunately, I have limited availability to do anything with the pageant world anymore since my daughter has moved on to theatre, singing and cheering and no longer competes)

Hi, we attend a lot of Calif pageant & have never heard of yours. A great place to advertise them to the pageant community is on the Bravo Board which is www.voy.com/139646/
Also find other big Calif pageant systems & attend their pageants & ask the directors to put out your paperwork. Universal Miss, Hawaiian Tropics, Royal Essence,Crowning Moments, Lacey's are some of the big systems here. You can find their sites on the net. WE love pageants in Calif.
