Subject: KEEP rockin' PERRY Author: Garo Karakashian [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 18:24:23 05/08/05 Sun I just want to throw in a few words , NO 1- I am a huge journey FAN, NO 2 I ve seen Steve Perry 5-6 times begining with the escape tour to his solo tour , and he is just awesome, if you listen to some of the live albums where he holds them high notes or even not so hard notes -but for 10 , 15 20 seconds you just cant believe it, getting back to my main thing , i do like the current journey lineup however I still wake up everday and say WHY cant steve perry play again , OH the good old days , if youve never seen Perry sing , , WOW , yoiu dont know what your missing, hes explosive ,he just carries you thru every song , I guess the first time I heard Steve Augierie I was dissapointed when he didnt hit the high notes in "oPEN ARMS" and also cut the part of the chorus's line short in 'Don't STop Believen " i was just like where is PERRY. yoiu you take the good with bad , - I - personally still dont know why perry stopped singing w/journey but I guess augiere is here to stay , HOWEVER perry can still do solo I would THink whatever i think im talking cicles now , anyway if anyone has any comments please send them to me . thanx [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ]
