I got DVD Houston Live 11/6/81 and I cannot say enough about how great it is. When Journey was touring back in the 80's I was a single mother who had just gotten a divorce so I was unable to attend any of Journy's concerts. I loved the group so much and had completely fallen in love with Steve Perry and his remarkable voice. When this DVD came out and the other one Steve produced I was thrilled beyond words. Here I was now able to at experience the feeling of attending one of Journy's concerts. But when I saw this Houston and saw it was an actual concert I actually felt I was at one of their concerts. Most of all I could not believe how incredibel Steve Perry's voice was when he went from "Open Arms" right into "Mother, Father, Sister, Brothe" how could he do that? I was totally amazed.

I so much wish I could have gone to one of their concerts when I was younger. My son now is 21 years old on his own but, let me tell you, if it weren't for Steve Perry's voice and Journy's songs I don't think I could of made it through my son's childhood. I never remarried.

I wish I could thank Steve Perry myself in person or write him personally and know that he got my email or letter. But I know that never will happen. But who knows' maybe someday he might be surfing the web and find this website and read this letter of thanks.

Thank you Steve for everything you have done for me through your music and songs throughout my life. I will forever be an eternal fan and will always respect you as the great individual that you are.
