This is a great craft for a craft fair. They can be bottled up in old candle jars or placed in a pretty basket. Can one of our talented poets write a few lines to add to a tag to attach to the pretty petals. This would be a wonderful hostess gift. Thanks for sharing the idea.

Lori Jean,
Thanks for the info! Never would have thought to see if the colors would run! Have tried both the silk and velvet ones in hot water! Looks like I'm good to go! Need to scout for the soap making supplies... now! LOL ;-) CM2

This is the poem I am planning to use with my gifts (after they're made)! ;-) Crafty Me2

Disposable, floral petals for gently washing the hand,
Scenting the air with their fragrance, quite grand!
Place in an attractive container or creatively package for a gift...
Feminine and whimsical, they’re bound to produce a pleasant lift.

Made these and just bought bars of glycerin soap at the store and melted them down in a double boiler. Packaged them in small bags and used them as Christmas gifts. They were well received by all.
