Subject: OT-Letter of Encouragement for soldiers needed

We are mailing care packages to the soldiers who are fathers stationed for the next 14 months in Afghanistan for Father's Day. We need to include a note/letter of encouragement for how much they are appreciated and the sacrifices they are making for us. Could someone write a poem or verse for this for us? (No political preferences please).

Here is another one that I have used many times and it was written by Sue.

Away from friends and family
you wonder what it's for
but trust God has a plan
only he knows what's in store.

and troops are their reply.

Glad to help you, Mary. I had a whole platoon once that were homesick, morale was low, etc. The 1Lt that I was sending everything to said the soldiers appreciated the ones I had sent to them. I wrote each of the soliders (in a card) and put in a different poem to each.

It is great that you are doing this for our soldiers - they are the most courageous, brave and greatest to defend us in the war on terrorism. I know they will appreciate your efforts.
