I put in laminate floors in my living room, dining room and hall. I have a large rug in my living not covering all of my floor and one under my table in dining room. I still have a lot of flooring showning in each roon I used something for laminate flooring to mop with and it left streakes so bad. I have used only white vinegar and water no more streakes. I use the mop that you are taking about and it works for me fine. Maybe you are pushing down to hard. As far as feet prints I do get them once in awhile but I make sure my granddaughter has her shoes or socks on. I do think if you use the viegar and water it will help with the feet prints Hope this helps. Carolyn E

The mop she has me use is different from the swiffer. I have used the swiffer. This one has a long flat velcroed head to fit the pad onto. It's probably 1 1/2 feet long and the pad that goes it is blue terry like those blue cleaning rags that you can buy. They seem to have some kind of rubbery fiber in them that grips slightly. I don't like them. When I clean the gripper handles on the equipment at Curves with these kind of rags it's hard to move the rag down them.
I think that she may have ordered this thing off QVC. It has 3 changable/washable terry pads that came with it.

Yes, I know the kind of mop that you are talking about and I love them. I bought one (myself) to mop her kitchen with and I felt that she didn't like it because she had her husband go out a buy this BIG bulky mop that I can't hardly handle. It ended up outside...I use it to mop the porch and I use the "handiwipe" mop for the kitchen.
Regarding the vinegar and water......that's my thought. At one time I was cleaning for two younger women and they both had me use the vinegar and water on their hardwood....beautfiul floors! But they had me add a little bit of pinsol to the water as well. One of the ladies had me towel drying the floor....I didn't clean there too long! She lived in a huge house and my age couldn't handle all that.

Anyone else use the water and vinegar on laminate flooring?
Let me know because I will print this off and take it to show her Monday.
