Subject: O/T...Prayer Request For My Twin Sister
Ladies,
I would like to request that you put my twin sister, Jama on your prayer list. She is facing a very hard time right now. The last time that she went to the doctor she mentioned that she had a knot under her arm {in her armpit}. The doctor told her that it was a cyst and nothing to worry about. The doctor got upset when Jama pushed for a mammograph {sp?} but finally gave in and ordered one.
Well, she had the mammograph at the hospital where due to what they saw on the mammograph, they also did three ultrasounds right in a row. The doctor at the hospital {not her regluar doctor} told Jama that she has a knot in her lymph node and that it's not a cyst. The hospital doctor wanted her to see an surgeon immediately. Jama has chosen to go to a doctor that she has used before. They gave her an appointment on May the 7th but she has already cancelled that appointment because that is the day that my father will be having his operation to remove more cancer that is dangerously close to his heart. So, I'm not for sure now when she will get into see the surgeon {his office is suppose to call her back on Monday}.
Jama is a single parent of a wonderful 14 year old son. She doesn't get an support from her ex-husband for her son, so she works all of the time as a heavy machine operator. I pray that everything will be okay esp. because if she was to have to take time off from work for chemo treatments, etc... I just don't know how they would make it. She is still trying to bounce back from the three months that she had to take off from work last year for an operation on her stomach.
Jama is not going through this alone because I am going to do everything humanly possible to help her but she really could use everyone's prayers. Thank you all for everything.
