Show organisers Turret RAI plc claims a number of new initiatives including a new dedicated team, to deliver a market focussed event for system developers, manufacturers, solution providers and end users. Albert Andoh who joins as event manager after 6 years at SmartCard News, brings a wealth of industry and market knowledge to a team that has strong event expertise. Andoh, together with the team of Sarah Williams, event director; Clare Hillier, account manager; and Linda Roe, marketing manager, has re-defined the event format and has introduced a number of new initiatives for 2003. Albert Andoh spoke of the developments that will incorporate all aspects of smart card technologies and their uses: “We have researched the market and have identified the three key sectors of the smart card development and buying chain. The event will focus on these three areas: Developing Smart Card Technology, Smart Card Products & Systems and Smart Card Solutions. Manufacturers, distributors, solutions providers, developers, systems integrators, consultants and end-users will be brought together in a convention environment” says Albert Andoh, “and already we are working in partnership with exhibitors to ensure we deliver appropriate and high quality visitors. An exhibition in itself is not enough. Companies want more return from their investment than ever before and SmartCard Expo 2003 will provide that added-value.” As the only dedicated smart card event in the UK, SmartCard Expo 2003 will include a three-stream conference covering research & development, technology and solutions. Keynote addresses, case studies and live demonstrations by market leaders plus a lively social programme will also add weight to the event. Altogether, the two days will provide unique educational, business and networking opportunities for everyone. [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
